Charlie Freelander writes historical fiction shaped by myth, legend, and liminal spaces. A wanderer at heart, she is drawn to ruins, coastlines, and the traces history leaves behind. She splits her time between Spain and Finland and volunteers for marine conservation and heritage projects.

She also writes in Finnish as Lotta Roti: she was a finalist in the Finnish Nova science fiction and fantasy contest in 2025. She is the author of the Legacy of Wrath fantasy series.
